Sign in with Google

Our site offers account creation and login via your Google account. This feature is activated only by an explicit action on your part (clicking the "Sign in with Google" or "Sign up with Google" button). When you use it, Google transmits to us:

Your verified email address

Your display name

A unique Google identifier

This information is used exclusively to create your account or identify you when you log in. No data is shared with Google for advertising or profiling purposes.

Processing by Google is governed by its privacy policy and the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, which regulate data transfers to the United States.

You can revoke Data'Scout's access to your Google account at any time from your Google settings.

Purpose and Legal Basis

Your data is processed as part of executing the service usage contract, for the purposes of:

managing your user account

access to site features

billing and subscription management

improving our services

This processing is based on contractual execution and, where applicable, your consent (e.g. for marketing communications).

Data Retention

Your data is retained for the duration of service use and up to 3 years after account deletion, unless legally required otherwise.

Data Sharing

Your data is never sold. It may be transmitted to trusted service providers for technical reasons (e.g. hosting, payments), all GDPR compliant.

Our site uses no personal tracking or advertising cookies.

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly audience measurement tool that deposits no cookies on your device and collects no personally identifiable data.

Consequently, no consent banner is necessary.

Modifications

This policy may be updated at any time. You will be informed of any significant changes via the site or email.
