Last updated: August 31, 2025
1. Purpose
These Terms of Use (ToU) are intended to define the terms of access and use of the site and services offered by Data'Scout, a SaaS software dedicated to the analysis and visualization of football data. By accessing the site, the user unreservedly accepts all of these ToU.
2. Service access
Access to the site is free for anyone with Internet access. Some features are freely accessible, while others are reserved for users who have subscribed to a paid offer. Access may be temporarily suspended without notice for maintenance or updates.
3. User account
Creating an account is necessary to access personalized services. The user undertakes to provide accurate information during registration and to keep it up to date. They are solely responsible for the confidentiality of their login credentials and any activity performed from their account.
4. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the content, algorithms, processing and visualizations present on Data'Scout are the exclusive property of the publishing company and are protected by the laws in force relating to intellectual property. Some data used is licensed from third-party providers. Any unauthorized reproduction, representation, extraction or reuse is strictly prohibited.
5. Responsibilities
The information provided by Data'Scout comes from sources deemed reliable and is subject to statistical processing. However, no guarantee is provided as to their accuracy, completeness or relevance. The user remains solely responsible for the use they make of it. Data'Scout cannot be held responsible for the direct or indirect consequences of their use.
6. License of use and prohibited uses
The user benefits from a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the service, for strictly personal or internal purposes.
The following are strictly prohibited, except with prior written authorization from Data'Scout:
- resale, reproduction, distribution or modification of the service or its content;
- integration of results in a commercial offer, third-party product or public platform;
- scraping, massive data extraction or unauthorized automated use (bots, scripts, AI, etc.);
- reverse-engineering or any attempt to copy the service's operation;
- competitive use of the service, or for the purpose of developing a similar or competing product.
Warning: Any breach of these rules may result in immediate suspension of access to the service, without notice or refund, as well as legal action.
7. Immediate access and right of withdrawal
Instant access to your subscription
To allow you to immediately enjoy your subscription and access football data without delay, you can request instant activation of your service when subscribing.
By choosing this recommended option, you benefit from direct access to premium features and consequently waive your 14-day right of withdrawal, in accordance with article L221-28 of the Consumer Code.
How it works
When subscribing, you can check a box to request immediate activation. This option allows you to instantly use your subscription without a waiting period.
Standard right of withdrawal
If you prefer to keep your 14-day right of withdrawal, you can choose not to check this option when subscribing. In this case, access to premium features will be deferred. To exercise your right of withdrawal, contact us at: contact@datascout.pro. Refund will occur within 14 days.
8. Third-party data providers
Some features of the Data'Scout platform rely on data from third-party providers, used under license by Data'Scout.
This data is not made available to users as such. Data'Scout exclusively provides indicators, analyses, visualizations and synthetic results from proprietary processing.
The user acknowledges that:
- access is strictly limited to viewing and internal analysis of the proposed indicators;
- any attempt to extract, reconstruct datasets, redistribute, publish or make available to third parties, in any form whatsoever, is strictly prohibited;
- the results provided cannot be used to feed a third-party product, external database or public service.
Data'Scout reserves the right to:
- limit, suspend or terminate access to the service in case of non-compliance with these provisions;
- implement any control measure necessary to comply with contractual obligations related to its data providers.
9. Service level agreements (SLA)
The commitments defined below apply only to users with a paid subscription (Starter, Advanced or Pro). Users of the free Basic offer do not benefit from any contractual service commitment.
